After running out of my IMAN Second-to-None Luminous Foundation - Sand 4 foundation, I decided to try something new. That something new is Revlon PhotoReady foundation. This was an extremely hard purchase for me especially since I have the worst time finding a color that works well with my yellow undertones. I went back and forth with myself as I stood in Target. I finally calmed down, picked a shade slightly darker then my tone, and headed for the check out. I spent $10.99 for this .25 ounce bottle, so I ended up paying less then I usually do with IMAN Second To None Foundation
Considering that I had no makeup on, and I was extremely anxious to get this on my face, I applied it right there in my car. My 5 year old daughter said " Mommy why you putting that on your face" lol. All I had was my freshly sanitized hands so I proceeded to blend the medium beige color into my face. All I can say is "IMPRESSVE!" I felt overwhelmed to say the least. I wanted to march right back into Target to buy the translucent powder on display too. I just had it in my mind that nothing could ever compare to IMAN Second To None Foundation. I was really wrong! Below I will list the pros and cons.
Pros:
1. Goes on easy and blends well
2. Buildable coverage
3. Light weight
4. Reflects light
5. Non-creasing ( I do use a primer though)
6. Lasts all day long
Cons:
1. Can appear to be oily on oily skin. This product is oil free but the shimmers in it gives you a glowy look.
2. The shimmers may be too much for darker skin tones
3. The color range ( hopefully we will see new colors in the future)
My final conclusion: AWESOME 4 1/2 out of 5 stars!
